Margaret Hickey is a regular contributor to Position Papers. She is a mother of three and lives with her husband in Blarney.
Pat Hanratty taught Science/Chemistry in Tallaght Community School from its inception in 1972 until he retired in 2010. He was the school’s first Transition Year Co-ordinator and for four years he had the role of home School Community Liaison Officer.
Rev. Patrick Gorevan is a priest of the Opus Dei Prelature. He lectures in philosophy in St Patrick’s College Maynooth and is academic tutor at Maryvale Institute. He has written on the early phenomenological movement, virtue ethics and the role of emotion in moral action.
Patrick Quigley is vice-Chairman of the Irish Polish Society and a regular contributor to The Irish Polish Yearbook and journals in England and Poland. He is the author of a novel, Borderland, and three non-fiction books on the Markievicz family.
James Bradshaw writes on topics including history, culture, film and literature.
David Gibney is a school teacher in Dublin. He holds a Ph.D. in English literature.
