Andrew Larkin is a teacher, musician and music critic based in Dublin. He is also a director of Family Enrichment Ireland. Next month we will include the second part of this talk where Andrew deals at some length with marriage and also gives an insight on the Sacrament of the Sick.
Father Rutler is a priest of the Archdiocese of New York. He has made documentary films in the United States and England, contributes to numerous scholarly and popular journals and has published twenty-one books on theology, history, cultural issues, and the lives of the saints. Catherine Kavanagh is Senior Lecturer in the Department of Philosophy at Mary Immaculate College. She has held the Irish Research Council for the Humanities and Social Sciences Fellowship in Early Medieval Thought in the School of Classics, UCD and worked at the Società Internazionale per lo Studio del Medioevo Latino, Florence. She has served a term as President of the Irish Philosophical Society. She has held the Irish Research Council for the Humanities and Social Sciences Postdoctoral Fellowship in Humanities at the School of Classics, UCD.
Mary Lewis qualified as a barrister in 1988, followed by a Masters in Law. She initially worked in the public sector and subsequently in private practice for 14 years, before taking a career break to look after her family. She is a qualified mediator and currently studies theology at the School of Annunciation, having recently achieved a diploma in the New Evangelization.
Fr Dominic McGrattan is a priest of the Diocese of Down and Connor. He is currently pursuing postgraduate studies in theology at the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium. He was previously curate in St Patrick’s Parish, Belfast, and chaplain to the Mater Infirmorum Hospital, Belfast.
Pat Hanratty taught Science/Chemistry in Tallaght Community School from its inception in 1972 until he retired in 2010. He was the school’s first Transition Year Co-ordinator and for four years he had the role of home School Community Liaison Officer.
Kevin O’Rourke is a medical student at Trinity College Dublin and a frequent contributor to The Burkean Journal, a recently established online political and cultural magazine in Ireland that promotes conservative thought and ideas. This article is republished
